Our trip to the first location was as expected. Demanding children expecting to be at their first location immediately, or wanting spectacular snacks, treats and help with everything right this minute. As for the adults, we just wanted some quiet for more than 2 minutes.

We stopped in Toowoomba and visited the memorial for my Grandma and Grandad. It was lovely to see the inscriptions on their memorial as reminders of two big influences in my life. They also took a trip to the Stockmans Hall of Fame and I remember it being a big excitement for them.

When we arrived in Dalby the big signed 'rest stop' was nowhere to be seen! We found GPS coordinates and drove around for a bit to find a spot we liked. We managed to get a nice spot next to Myall creek with a great view.

Dinner with Nanna and Grandad, 1 Easter egg for dessert and some Trouble (the game not Harvey's attitude - this time!) with Nanna.

Tomorrow we trek to Roma and are looking forward to a night in a Caravan Park to have a proper shower and flushing toilet.
